(Volume of smaller/ volume of larger) = (height of smaller/ height of larger)^3
(X/5400) = (4/6)^3
X= 1600m3
So the volume of smaller Giraffe is 1600 m3
This method will give us a very accurate volume of the smaller Giraffe as the Giraffes are similar means that the smaller one is a scaled down version of the larger one so dimensions are proportional to the volume. We cubed the length so that we can take it to meter cube & get the volume. less

The formula for calculating volume is: V=L*W*H where L is length, W is width and H is height. As you can see in the diagram above, the L of the smaller giraffe is 6m and its width and height are both 1m each. Thus the total surface area (6x1) + (1x1)=7 sq m.
Since we know that the larger giraffe has a volume of 5400 m³, we need to find how many times more or less than this number 7sq m represents when compared to the larger giraffe with a volume of 5400 m³.

This will give us an approximate answer for the volume of the smaller giraffes.
Using generic maths formula, we can write: Given: L=6, W = 1 & H=1 --> So, S=(6x1)+(1x1)=7 sq m --> VL=5400 (given) --> RATIO=(Total Surface Area)/ Volume --> S/VL = 7/(5400) or 0.0118696... (approx.)
Thus, we have a ratio of 0.0118696... (approx.) between the surface area of the smaller giraffe and a larger one. Now we need to multiply this number with the volume of the larger giraffe in order to find out how many times the smaller giraffe's volume is compared to that of the larger giraffe.
This gives us a more accurate answer for the volume of smaller giraffes! Vsmaller Giraffes =0.0345691...(approx.) or 836 m³ less

Suppose,the volume of smaller one = x
Ratio of their Heights => 4/6= 2/3
Again,if we cube this the result will be(2/3)^3= 8/27.
This is similar as the volume so we can write a equation with it. Now, the equation stands → 8/27=x/5400
x=1600m3
Smaller giraffe's volume is 1600m3
Now, 'How my formula will work?' that's the question. The very first thing mentioned here is they are similar. That means ratio of length, width and height will be same. We were given with two heights. From that we have calculated the ratio. And the least form came 2/3 that means it can't be divided any further. So,it is the common ratio among the length,width and height.
But this ratio isn't equal to ratio of volume.For making this equal to volume. We need to cube it. Why? That's because If two solids are similar, the ratio of their volumes is equal to the cube of... less

And the rest of the things are as given. The equation will be (common ratio)^3=ratio of volumes. Thus it will work.
Now, the question remains, 'why it will work?' It will work because,I have done the correct things. Now, imagine one thing. I could show ratio of sides equal to the ratio of volumes. In that case that won't be correct and the answer would be 3600m3. Because,a one dimensional unit can't be equal to a three dimensional unit. less

If we use similarity formula,then,
Hbig/Hsmall=Vbig/Vsmall
But in an equation,the dimensions of the both sides must beequal.In this equation,height is a one-dimensional unit (m),but volume is a three-dimensional unit (m^3).In order to satisfy the condition of an equation,we have
to take the cube of both "Hbig" & "Hsmall".Then the
values will be 216 & 64 accordingly.Now the dimension has become equal & the equation is absolutely correct.
So,putting these values,the equation will be- 216/64=5400/X
From the equation,value of X is 1600

Then why this will work?
If two giraffes are similar then their corresponding linear measures (widths, heights, base lengths, etc.) are proportional too. And we also know volume is expressed in the cubic unit because it is the sum of three measurements (length, width, and depth) that are multiplied together. Cubic units are cm3, m3 , and cubic feet.
Now, the main point is which toy size he should keep for manufacturing more toys?
I think he should manufacture smaller giraffes since small things are sturdier in proportion to their size. Moreover, the small Giraffe will be able to hold up fine. But, the larger giraffe built with the same proportions as the small one will collapse under its weight. This large giraffe also needs to have timbers that are thicker compared to its size. We can calculate the volume of a smaller giraffe by using given values along with simple math calculation. So If the height of 6 makes a 5400 m³, then the first part of the proportion is 6/5400 m³ The second part of the proportion has a numerator of 4 because of the height of 6 changes into a height of 4. The proportion should be set up as 6/5400m³=4/x because the bottom number is the volume, and the top is the height, and we want to find the volume of the similar smaller giraffe.
To solve the proportion, let's suppose smaller giraffe volume is x, so if we cross multiply the numerator and denominator, so it would be in this way,

This method will work when all the sides are of the same length. Then, we can find the volume of a cube just knowing the measurement of only one side. If a cube has side length "x" then Volume = x × x × x a which results in the formula, Volume = x³. This is where we get the term called"cubed". When we use power to the 3 over something, we call it cubed. When units of Measure are calculated, we find the volume of an object, and the units are cubed. This means that if the measurements of the sides are in miters, then the answer will be in cubed miters. less

In question, it represents the subject of ‘similarity statistics’. This means that the ratio of height, length, and width will be the same.
In the equation, we are seeing that the dimension of both the values are different which needs to be equal. Over here, the height is a one-dimensional unit(meter) but the volume is three-dimensional (meter^3). So, we need to cube it to make it evenly dimensional.
''Why would it work?''
Otherwise, it is not according to the rules and the answer will be wrong.
So, given,
Height of small giraff= 4m
= 4 x 4 x4 = 216m^3
Height of big giraff= 6m
= 6x 6 x6 = 64 m^3
Volume of big giraff= 5400m^3
and, let the volume of small giraffe be 'x' m^3.
Now. we know,
the formula of similarity,
Height of big giraffe/Height of small giraffe=Volume of big giraffe/Volume of small giraff.
==> 216/64 = 5400/ 'x'
==>216x =345600
==> x =1600
Therefore, the volume of the small giraff is 1600 m^3. less

I lost my one of the most beloved persons on earth.My Father.
My father was a small businessman & I was then admitted to KUET where I am currently studying.His death was
an irrepairable loss to our family because I have no brother & sisters who can support me and help me continuing my study.At that time some of my school
friends said,”How can you continue your study now!!You have 4 more years to go.Besides, if you want to obtain higher degrees,you will have to go abroad which is impossible for you.So, why don’t you stop study?Rather you can start small business”.
Actually this was not bullying & I knew that.It was my childhood dream to be an engineer.I had an uncle
who was a Civil Engineer and he was working with a renowned company in Bangladesh.He had a very eye-catching Pajero car and whenever I saw it (in my childhood), I said to my mother “Ma,one day I will become an engineer like my uncle and I will ride on cars like this”.

upset.I couldn’t sleep at night.Even,it happened that I spent the whole night crying because I thought that I will never be able to fulfill my dream.
After 1 or 2 month, one day I was browsing internet and suddenly found a news that “A boy earns 15-20k per month by freelancing”.Then I thought-wow!!Why I am not trying that!
At first I was nervous and I wasn’t sure that whether I could do it or not.Because I thought it would hamper my
studies.But I decided to do it because I wanted to fulfill my dream at any cost.At that time,some of my uncles started helping us,so I thought if could bear the cost of my study,it would have become easier for my mom to run my family.
From then I started freelancing.At first I didn’t earn that much but slowly i became successful.Honestly the

Still I am continuing my

They were even planning for my wedding after my SSC exam as they were very sure that I wouldn't be able to pass the exam. But fortunately, somehow, I surprised them with an unexpected result and got a chance to be a part of a renowned college.
I was thoroughly weak in English and couldn't bring any progress in my speaking, reading or writing ability. In the meantime, my younger sister was studying in an English medium school, and it's very obvious she was far better than me. While I was struggling with my disability, she started to mock me. The memory was truly hurtful.
But I took it as a challenge. I took an oath that I am going to change myself anyhow, at any cost. I started to read English newspapers, listening to the BBC, CNN news reports, and the most important thing that helped me the most was English movies; I started to watch those almost regularly. This desperation took me to another level. I got a chance in a very reputed University, finished my study, gave my first interview to an English medium school and imagine what, I became a part of that school. It's not the end; after my wedding, I was frustrated about my career as it was tough for me to do a job outside. But my passion, desperation again helped there.
Somehow I found a free online course on content writing, finished that and started my online life there. Now my sister is learning writing from me, and I am helping her with a lot of enthusiasm. What I have learnt from my life is that: Never fear your weakness. Take a step ahead, fight your disability and win your fear. less

Well, like everyone else, I also have many situations in my life where I considered myself as a complete loser.You know being an introvert makes you disconnected from social life and it's not a joke. But, the socio-economic conditions of women in Bangladesh have improved considerably over the period. The progress can be seen in several social indicators such as education, health, and empowerment. This is a reflection of the increased participation of women in the labor force. There are some job sections where women participation can be seen significantly such as,

According to this index, FLFP of Bangladesh has increased by a lot because in 2008, it was merely 16 percent and now it is 21 percent. This change can be attributed to women's increasing awareness about their role as well as an increase in access of education and job opportunities for them.
The 2011 World Development Report from the World Bank estimates that if half of all unemployed youth were put into jobs tomorrow, global gross domestic product would increase by more than $2 trillion over the next five years—equal to more than 10% of global GDP!

The largest contribution of women in economy is in the RMG sector (among 4 million workers, 70% of them are women), & we know 12% of the GDP is contributed by this sector. According to a research by The Asia Foundation its seen that from 1999/2000 to 2016/2017 the number of female workforce has increased from 8.6 million to 19.9 million which is more than twice & this is largely due to the increased literacy rate of women which stands at 71.95% & safety of women in job sector. The rise in women workforce is also due to Introduction of programmes like Microfinance from NGO’s like BRAC & others. Because, this project gives house to the landless, homeless, shelterless people which gives them roof over their head. So, they don't have to pass night under the open sky. When their accommodation becomes secure, they can focus on their daily livlihood only.
Besides that,under Asrayan project these people receive technical and practical training and also soft loan which makes them skilled people and help them to income money. This project also gives them some land for mosque, pond.

The project is supposed to provide jobs to unemployed people and a shelter for the homeless ones. The Asrayan project will surely help so many poor families to get out of extreme poverty. Once they get their own land, they will begin to grow corn, rice, or vegetables on it and hopefully start earning their own income without borrowing any money from loan sharks. The landless people will also not have to pay rental anymore as this kind of initiative may give them a chance in life!
I also believe, to make this project more successful and let them be independent, these people need to be trained to manage money better. Although they do not have a lot of money, they can save at least some amount regularly with good management. This will help their families to start saving money on a regular basis. I must appreciate but in the meantime, I also admit that it is a small picture. In a report, it has been shown that the govt. is being able to provide shelter for only 7%. It was one side of the topic which is not discussed most of the time. Let's have a look at the people who have got the facility. Now, how much they will improve it's all up to them. I admit that Asrayan Project is giving a great facility but it's not enough. Why? Because the only shelter can't improve their standard. So, as a result, their standard of living will remain the same. And believe me, it will be the most horrifying part of the project when no output will come. Again, the previous year we have earned 19.8 billion dollars as a remittance.
Each of these earnings is increasing our GDP and standard of living. But please stop. That's only for a few people. It's quite disappointing that more than 60% are not aware of that. In this situation, it's quite clear that what should we do. Yeah, as it is an era of information. Our main focus should be on increasing the skill. Because, this skill can create manpower. Most of the poor people who do not have their own house, have to live in a rent house. A great percentage of their income is spent in paying the rent. Education is the only way to uplift their poor situation but they are hardly getting it. But for this Asrayan Project, these lower income people are getting a house and land of their own. Also, this project aims at alleviating poverty, by accelerating the way of fulfilling the ''Vision 21''.Thus, I think this project will help lower-income group people to stand on their own feet. less

Now his monthly cost gets decreasing due to he does not commit paid of rent the house.
His savings are increasing. His12 years old son has got off from child work. He wants to continue his educational life again.
Mr Shaharul is thinking, his son will be well educated and will not suffer an economic recession in his future life.
While I was talking to Mr Shaharul, I saw confidence in his voice to stand on his own feet that's why I strongly believe that the Narayan project will be successful.
The future generation of landless people will be the most benefited. less

This project gives shelter to homeless people, those people were barely surviving before they got a house from this project. Now they can stay focus on their daily livelihood. The project has been going economic vulnerability of many homeless families by providing them with shelters and necessary financial assistance to rebuild their life. As the project now targets the impoverished people of the whole country, by aiding them to build their shelter with a means of income generation can also check the displacement of people from one place to another. Beside that this project provided necessary training to them and revolving interest-free micro-credit to enhance income generating activities to improve their livelihoods and make them self-reliant. With this they can start a small business or cultivate their own food and keeping household pet. This project surely a blessing to those people like Rahim Miah. less

Homeless women, teenagers, and children feel helpless or unprotected due to multiple forms of victimization, including forced, coerced, or manipulated sexual activity. So, ''The Asrayan project'' is a development project which aims at providing homes for the homeless and gradually making them self-dependent to contribute to the national economy. This project will help lower-income group people to some extent but government support is needed to achieve this to the fullest, such as,
1.Setting priority for ensuring to access good jobs for lower-income group people.
2.Providing Microloans can be beneficial to the landless people who want to start a new business. If the business increases, it will also create more employment opportunities for others. less

landless, homeless, miserable and uprooted family, the acknowledgment of ownership of the land is executed and registered.Before,if their monthly income was 10000 tk,60% of that money went into the land-owner’s pocket.By the rest of the amount,it was almost impossible to run a 4-5 member family.But now,they are getting home without any cost & they don’t have to pay any land owners.So,100% of their income will remain in their pocket after a month.Secondly,community centers,mosques,cemeteries,ponds,common lands for raising cattles and agrulture have been provided by the Govt.Moreover,practical and technical training have been given to the rehabilitated family members for productive & income generating... less
