In the light of physics, pressure is the amount of force applied per unit area. That is P=F/A. Now in case of cutting something using a knife, you have to put pressure on the thing you want to cut. It is mentionable that, less the area is, more the pressure will be. That means pressure is inversely proportional to area. You know that, a sharp knife have less area on the cutting edge than the blunt one. As a result, by giving equal force the pressure by the sharp knife will be more than the blunt one. To do the same work, you have to give more pressure on the blunt knife for which the possibility of slipping the blunt knife with greater force will be more. And that would be dangerous for you as this can cause serious damage. For this reason, it is recommended to use sharp knives rather than blunt knives to cut vegetables. less

If you’re using a knife to peel a potato or carrot, the dull knife can stop on an irregular surface, forcing you to use excessive pressure to get past it. If the knife blade suddenly slips, you’re likely to cut yourself as it suddenly speeds up.
Dull blades make cutting meats harder and make you use extra force to cut through any tougher part of the meat. Once it cuts through and can move easily, quite often you’ll cut your other hand when the blade moves quickly due to the force you’re using.
A sharp blade cuts easily through most foods and only light to moderate pressure is required. It’s easier to guide and control a sharp blade due to its consistent cutting ability. less

A blunt knife, on the other hand, is quite likely to slip off the surface of some harder or tougher objects - and this means it will go in a direction you did not intend - perhaps in the direction of your fingers. To compensate for the loss of cutting action, you'll find yourself applying more force - which means you may no longer be in control of the blade; you might not even be holding it properly any more - and then, when the blade still slips and goes where it isn't meant to, it will arrive with far greater force, possibly cutting you quite badly.
A blunt knife also tends to crush the food, rather than cutting it - so with something like an onion, the layers will... less

But a blunt knife will create laceration which will create irregular edges in the wound creating a risk of infection. According to physics, we know that a unit of force (1 newton) applied to a unit area (1 meter squared) perpendicularly will create 1-pascal pressure. The formula being P=F/A (n/m^2). So, the more we apply pressure to the handle of the knife, the more the pressure is in a smaller surface area. This makes the point of contact of the vegetables precise and allows swift and clean cutting. Whereas the blunt knife having a larger surface area, won't have the same penetrating force which will result in a twisting force called torque. So the knife will rotate and cause injuries to the hand. less

Sharp must have a thin edge and the Blunt has a thick edge. So the edge area of blunt is bigger than sharp. When you put the same force on both of them, the force is distributed in the smaller portion of Sharp's edge area and makes more pressure directly on surfaces and makes a quick cut. The same force will be distributed in the bigger portion of the Blunt's edge area and as the force spreads in a bigger place, the pressure becomes weaker on the surface and makes it harder to cut thoroughly. Sharp knife bite the surface with its thin edge and the blunt knife can't sit properly, so it becomes slippery and risky.
In physics term, force/area=pressure. Here, forces are equal. Sharp knife has a smaller and blunt knife has a bigger area. When you divide the same number with a small and a large number, they result in a big and a small number(pressure) respectively. So the pressure of a sharp knife will be greater than blunt one. less

Let's consider in above circumstances, adam applied the same amount of force on the carrot he was cutting with both the sharp and blunt knife. His ease of cutting will be dependent on whether the area of applied force is lesser than the other or not. Now, with common sense, we can easily understand that the sharp one has a lesser area of pressure than the blunt one because the edge is much narrower. So, more pressure will be put on using the sharper one.

Adam tried to cut the carrots using a blunt knife. He couldn't do that in brunoise cut and he almost cut his hand. His teacher mentioned that the sharp knife is efficient to cut any food. If you try to cut a cucumber using a blunt knife it would require you to exert more strength/force. The knife may slip if the sharp end is too thick. Whereas if you use a sharp knife you can efficiently do that by exerting less strength/force
This is because of the force and the surface area. The surface area of the sharp end of a blunt knife is more than that of a sharp knife. We get from pascals law that Pressure is inversely proportional to the surface area. So if you apply the same amount of force for both the knife, the sharp knife would be more efficient. So sharper knife is safer in cutting food... less

So he has to apply force in the knife which makes the pressure cut the Carrots. Here another physics term arises that is cutting Area of the knife. With all of these things, we can get a relation from physics that is Force=Pressure/Area
Here we can see that Force is inversely proportional to Area . This means that if Area is increasing then Force will decreasing & similarly if the Area is decreasing then the Force will increasing with the proportion to each other.
To cut the Carrots properly Adam had to give more pressure when he used the dull knife. Because the dull knife’s cutting area is more than the sharp knife. Moreover while giving more pressure for dull knife it might be slipped and cut his hand. As cutting Area of the sharp knife is less. The elementary mathematical expression for pressure is giving by ,
P = F/A
Here, P is the pressure , F is the force acting perpendicular to the surface to which this force is applied and A is the area of the surface .
The same force applied by a sharp knife with a smaller area of contact will exerts a much greater pressure than a blunt knife having a considerable larger area of contact .
Once a blunt knife is through the object (vegetable or other food), there is a greater chance for the pressure to lead to slippage, skidding and injury. At first, when it comes to winter driving, the law of physics is most applicable which is Newton’s first law of motion called “ The law of intertia”. It states: “An object in motion continues in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force “. On road dry, the friction of the wheels allow changes in speed and direction. But during winter, when the roads are covered with snow or ice, the coefficient of friction is substantially reduced. But, four wheels with good grip improves traction on icy roads. While driving on slippery surface, it's drive system send power to all 4 wheels to maintain traction. Here, I have explained a few acts of Jacob during his visit to a cold climate and his acts carried a few generalizations of physics. "His four-wheel drive car was very helpful to drive in that weather as it's tires had very good grip on the icy and slippery roads." - Referring with the laws of physics and breaking down how the mechanism of how Jacob's four wheeler is quite a better option for driving it over icy surface as while driving a vehicle, the engine generates a force on the driving wheels. This force initiates the vehicle to move forwards. Friction is the force that opposes the tyre rubber from sliding on the road surface. This friction avoids skidding of vehicles. away the ice and snow.So he could drive safely. If no tread, there will be less friction and driving will become unsafe.
Jacob's shoes slipped because uppermost ice layer contains thin water layer on it.Deeper ice layers stick to each other well but upper layers are very loose as they always remain in contact with air. While walking, jacob's shoes rubbed on ice that caused friction.Friction created heat and heat helped to melt the ice which made it more slippery.

1) Situation-1, Jacob’s car could travel the road despite the road was slippery. This happened as the tires had enough grooves to increase friction. Friction increases due to rough surface, so the tires could make a firm grip on the road and prevent slipping. But if the tires hadn’t enough groove it could felt due to the smooth icy road.
2) 2nd situation where Jacob slipped on the ground due to wearing regular shoes. Although static friction occurred it wasn’t enough to stop slipping as the shoes of Jacob didn’t have enough grip to increase friction.
3) We can see in the 3rd situation that through rubbing his palms together, Jacob felt warm on both palms. This occurred due to sliding friction. The molecules in the palms of Jacob’s started moving quickly. Static electricity was produced due to the sliding friction. Thus this static electricity converted into heat energy. So friction is the root of this. less

First of all, it can be noticed that surface of the ice is slippery. So in order to prevent skidding, the tire of the car had a grooved pattern moulded into the rubber surface and are properly inflated which increases the amount of friction force acting on the car and so the car can move smoothly through the ice. Secondly, it is quite good to mention that normal shoes are not built to create a lot of frictional force, so as the ice is slippery, due to less frictional force, Mr Jacob slips.
In order to prevent slipping on ice, ice boots have quite a good surface that can create a lot of friction with the ice, preventing the user of the boots from sleeping. Thirdly, rubbing hands is also an example of friction. Rubbing hands allows surfaces from both the hands to come into contact and rub against each other and this movement causes friction force to convert the kinetic energy of the hands into the thermal... less

is so slippery and doesn’t have enough grips. Jacob’s Car was useful there; it
gives power to all 4 wheels at the same time. With the help of heavy car
weight, those 4 tires made 4 friction points. The more friction it made, the
more grip the car got. He might use frictional tires for getting more grips. In
consequence of that, he moved easily.
2.
On the ice, there are
unstable water molecules that are weakly bonded to the crystal. When Jacob
walked on ice, the molecules began to move freely. His shoes had not enough
friction point to grip in ice. As a result, his foot did not get enough static
friction force to hold him in place & he slipped.
3.
Jacob’s hands came in contact & move relative to each
other; the friction between the two hand surfaces converts kinetic energy into
thermal energy. Thermal energy made his hand wormer and made it safe from being
frozen. less

They have been managing forest resources for generations so they should be given an opportunity to manage it again and improve on its condition with help from outside agencies.
The government must provide support to ensure that locals can get back into the trade without any barriers or inhibitions by providing training courses and facilities like boats, fishing nets etcetera at subsidized rates which will enable people who live here to make a decent income while preserving our environment and wildlife as well!

Royal Bengal Tiger,Saltwater crocodile,Dolphine,Hawksbill Turtle are some endangered species of the largest
mangrove forest of the world,SUNDARBAN.My 1st step in protecting them is to secure their habitat.First of all,
their habitats have to be identified seperately by drones. To protect their habitats, stations have to be set up one by one at certain distances (Consider 2 station within 1km) around their residence. Each station will have a tracker which will be able to detect any boat within 1 km
range and a 5 member BGB team will work for every 4km area. Now, how will it track?
The local administration will provide one fishing boat or ordinary boat for every 3 fisherman free of cost and each boat will carry a boat number which will be recorded to the officials of the local administration. less

Beside this,i will tell others that the tiger and its habitat are under threat and that they need our help.I will form forums (or join existing ones) on the web for discussions and exchange views on tiger conservation.I'll speak to tiger and wild ungulate poachers and persuade them to give up poaching. A fixed time have to be set for fishing, collecting honey and woods etc.Trees of same age group can be cut down in a selected area and then marked for replantation. Those who go to cut down trees in the forest will be given two saplings each by the local administration. When they will
cut down one tree, they will plant two saplings at the same time in the previously marked area for replantation. The time gap between these cuttings is helpful in re-growth of trees.
Only one-tenth of the forest area will be selected for use and rotational system will be always followed for their protection. Moreover, various decorative materials can also be made from the wood of the trees, from which they can also earn money. less

resources like golpata, honey, wood, waxes etc. The forest authority can utilize them by creating

These days almost every nation has good mobile internet coverage. Rafiq can use that to his advantage as internet service providers don't usually cover rural areas. Basically, he can buy a 4G router, a LAN cable, and insert a sim in the router. Buying a
4G modem from Grammen Phone is another good option to consider. Implementing these methods will give him a better internet connection. So this is the immediate solution.
However, a poverty-stricken guy like Rafiq will have to spend a decent amount of money every month to maintain the whole. This is where his teachers or classmates must step in. They can raise a fund and make sure that he has everything he needs. This is the classic ALL FOR ONE ONE FOR ALL METHOD. It has to be implemented all over the country on a large scale. less

the same problem. I was in my village in 22 days. There was no proper
network. So i was thinking about this solution
Actually you can get internet access on Android without data plan or WiFi. Fast, simple and unlimited.
Most of USB OTG-capable devices would have no problems with USB Ethernet adapters, at least RINDS-compatible ones.
It's fast - you could easily saturate USB 2.0 with Gigabit Ethernet
adapter, that's up to 480Mbps. It’s simple - if the network you're
plugging into has DHCP (most do), it's just plug-and-play. It's
unlimited - usually there's no traffic accounting on copper ports, at
least on small networks. And a lot of Ethernet ports available has an
internet access, be sure to choose one with greater speed.
So, all you need is an USB Ethernet adapter, internet-connected Ethernet
port at a router (it may look as wall socket with RJ-45 receptacle) and
a patch cable long enough to get yourself comfortably seated. Enjoy! less

network community to share his ideas and problems. This will solve half of his situation.
In his village, he is a shining star. There must be other
students facing the same problems. He
can influence people of his similar age and the local government like Union
Chairman or Union Members or the influential persons. At the local, he should
build a physical platform (maybe a library or a career development club) where
those audiences will be invited.
The club or library can be a hub to study, and establishing a
broadband internet zone with those audiences will cut the cost for individuals.
Also, this platform can attract outside attention from his urban community.
The external audience will be his university faculties,
dedicated university clubs, local and national newspapers, classmates, and
network companies like Robi axiata or Grameenphone to rethink the issue.

With this attention, the nation might help solve such
problems with funding, network tower establishing, reducing internet bills,
etc.
Here the local platform is a model that represents the whole
nation’s scenario.

1. He can apply for financial assistance/student loan from his university. Then try using 3G sim and modem of any mobile operators (GP,Airtel,Teletalk). It would be better if
he considers the coverage and network condition of his area before buying.
2. There will be other students in his village who are facing Poor Internet conncetion for sure.So what Rafiq can do is take the initiative to make a group/community uniting all the students from his village and requesting the Village/Union Chairman to take steps bringing Fixed Wireless internet or Satellite Internet for the villagers.
Not only Rafiq but students all over the country even in Dhaka face poor internet connection during online
classes. Students need an internet connection that’s not only fast enough to handle any assignment or software program their courses require but also cheap
enough to fit into their budget. So mobile operators in our country should offer affordable STUDENT INTERNET PACKAGES.... less

In the village, there is lots of obstacle to the mobile networks, such as trees, multitude house and so on. But in terms of a certain height, he will you can get enough network speed.
1. He can make a Ladder to get the height to reach network level, many freelancers works in this method.
2. Make a network booster like a dish antenna network booster by the semiconductor material. or Simply buy it from daraz.
3. Use a Pocket router or mobile device at a certain height and in an open space, then open the hotspot and get internet access via wifi system.
4. Best way He can borrow the internet via coaxial cable dishline from local ISP if there a dish cable network. less

As Rafiq got no money, he can lend some money from his students. He can use that money to buy a broadband connection. Thus he can continue his classes and his tuitions as well.
He can also gather more people like him who are facing the same problem and together they can buy a broadband connection and router. Which will result in solving everyone's problem.
He can also get a student loan from his Univesity. less

-A Pocket Router and a good quality USB extension cable can solve his problem. To get network inside his home, he can place the router on the bamboo-head or as high as possible, using a USB extension cable of 10 meters or as required. The router must be covered with waterproof something like polythene.
-GP Pocket Router supports all SIMs. The SIM which provides best network in his village, he can purchase that SIM's data package from the retailer at least at one-third lower price.
-For the first month, the full cost including the data package, can be up to a maximum of 3500 takas. If Rafiq does not have this amount, he can request to get the tuition fees in advance as the student is known to him. Otherwise, he can borrow the money for a month from somewhere reliable. less

2. If it's not possible then, second option is buying a router (which can be connected to a modem), a modem and a sim. Thus he can connect the sim to the router through modem. This will cost 2-4000 for set up and 500-1000৳ monthly. This need to be placed in a tall tree or on top of a bamboo stick where the network is good. As connecting electricity at that high place will be tough, he can attach a battery based power system which will backup for minimum 3-4 hours.
Obviously, he can share his connection to other people who need it and thus reducing the cost to bear by himself. less

Rafiq is a University student who earns for himself. Because of Covid's situation, he has to move to his native village. The issues start from here. All income source has stopped.
The situation is, Rafiq does not have a proper internet connection and as a result, he is not able to continue his tuition along with his own classes. Because of his poor financial condition, he must need tuition. An adequate network at the home is the major issue in this case. As he is in the village, the electricity cut-off possibility is high. So, we cannot suggest him for broadband or wifi connection. So, the solution could be a POCKET ROUTER. less

Firstly,i will send the young (20-45 years old) back to work instead of the adults, because they face the lowest fatality rate and the lowest need of needing healthcare for COVID-19.But of course,no young boy will be sent for any difficult and heavy works. As most of the village people do simple works for their living, the young will be a great replacement.
But before sending them to work,i will obviously first vaccinate them by going to everyone's house. They will go to work at 12:01 pm in a day and will finish their work and return home within 6PM.This is because they can complete their studies
in morning before going to work. Moreover, after returning from work, they will be able to get enough time to study and other works. So, i think this process
won't hamper their study system and this will help to keep the wheel of their economy moving. less

In my point of view some ideas are pointed below:
1.During lockdown he may arrange online learning & earning programs with younger
& educated village people. It may help their economic condition.
2.He can make a team or organization with young people those who give free service during pandemic such as
village women can work in home(hand crafts, sewing etc.) and they can help to delivering these things.
3.From political background he may manage some reliefs from govt. and distribute those with his organization’s young people.

Distribution of workforce could ensure less gathering and reduction of service. Businesses will divide the workers into shifts and follow strict guidelines. They will also have to reduce the services they provide and stay open for extra hours. Garments, constructions need to divide their workforce into shifts so it doesn't hinder their work.
Long journeys should be restricted as it increased the chances of spreading the virus. Borders need to stay closed at all costs because new strains are being discovered on a regular basis around the globe and the effects of the mutated virus could be devastating.
Law force should be deployed to monitor unnecessary gatherings and ensure people maintaining the guidelines in public.
The government needs to organize relief funds to ensure infected individuals don't have to go hungry or forced to go... less

- I will instruct the industries to work by dividing the working time into double shifts. In this way, even if the cost of running the industry is a bit higher, the density in the workplace can be avoided.
-Since the marketplaces must be kept open, a family member from each family will be provided a movement pass for shopping at most one day of the week to avoid extra crowds.
-Adequate number of transports would be kept running on the occasion of the upcoming festival so that the passengers can maintain minimum social distance.
-Strict surveillance will be put in place to ensure that people are maintaining proper social distance and hygiene and not leaving their house unnecessarily. Public awareness activities should be carried out to motivate the people to abide by the necessary health norms. less
